Date: 2025-06-25

SINGAPORE -- Datalec Precision Installations (DPI), a leading provider of world-class data centre solutions specialising in M&E and Connectivity design, bespoke manufacturing, construction, and installation services, announced the appointment of Edmund Quek as Technology Delivery Manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This strategic hire underscores DPI’s commitment to accelerating its growth and operational excellence across APAC’s rapidly evolving digital infrastructure landscape.

Based in Singapore, Quek leads DPI’s end-to-end technology project delivery across the region, championing customer-centric solutions in data centre environments and ensuring operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement. His appointment comes at a pivotal time, as DPI continues to invest in APAC as a strategic growth market, supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients with innovative, high-impact solutions.

“We are pleased to have Edmund join DPI at such a transformative time in the industry,” said Peter Cole, Executive Vice President, APAC. “With the surge in digital infrastructure demand across the region, coupled with his extensive local knowledge, we look forward to delivering innovative, high-impact solutions that reflect DPI’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction under his leadership.”

With over 20 years of experience in ICT infrastructure, data centre project delivery, and technology operations throughout APAC, Quek has delivered more than 100 large-scale projects across APAC and the Middle East. He is recognised for leading regional technical teams, supporting mission-critical deployments, and driving operational improvements that have reduced project turnaround time by 25%.

In his new role, Quek will focus on streamlining project execution frameworks, enhancing client onboarding experiences, supporting sales through technical bid input, and fostering a high-performance delivery culture aligned with DPI’s global standards.

DPI’s vision is to compete at the highest standards in data centre fit-out and managed services globally, with a mission to deliver unparalleled quality and to closely identify with clients’ evolving requirements.
