SEOUL -- The Autumn Debate Get-Together (ADGT) 2025 will return on September 28 at Dulwich College Seoul, bringing together young debaters from across South Korea for one of the country’s largest in-person English debate tournaments. Following the success of its spring edition, this fall’s competition is set to reach new heights with a stronger adjudication panel and growing participation.
In partnership with Debate Korea, the 2021 World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC), ADGT 2025 will feature a team of experienced and internationally recognized judges. Their involvement ensures that competitors will benefit from fair assessments and valuable feedback, raising the standard of debate for all divisions.
Ethan Kim, Tournament Director, noted, “Our goal has always been to create a platform where young debaters can challenge themselves and grow. With more teams joining us this fall and the support of an outstanding adjudication panel, we are confident this will be our most exciting tournament yet.”
The tournament is expected to welcome a record number of participants, with 36 teams across Junior, Novice, and Open categories. Over the course of four preliminary rounds, debaters will tackle prepared and impromptu motions before advancing to the awards ceremony, where the top teams, speakers, and adjudicators will be honored.
