SEOUL -- Roborobo, a leading Edutech company from Korea, and AMD (NASDAQ:AMD), the high performance and adaptive computing leader, announced on 28th that both companies will jointly participate in the ‘Edutech Asia 2024 exhibition’ to be held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore for two days starting November 6.

Edutech Asia Exhibition is Asia’s largest edutech and education technology exhibition visited by more than 8,000 visitors annually, including more than 200 major edutech companies from around the world.

At this exhibition, both companies will set up a joint booth introducing the CSR activities and collaboration M.O.U signed in May and will promote their brands and strengthen overseas partnerships. In the case of Roborobo, the company will introduce educational solutions and products that are being provided to more than 47 countries around the world starting this year, and AMD will introduce CSR activities in the fields of STEM, coding and robotics that are being carried out by using Roborobo’s products.

“After signing a CSR collaboration M.O.U with Roborobo last May, the first robotics training in the Southeast Asian market using Roborobo’s robot products were conducted with success, and we are pleased to co-host a booth together with Roborobo to introduce the collaboration between the two companies in Singapore, the center of Southeast Asia. We are very happy to see this coming, as both parties plan to continue our cross-border collaboration partnership in the future,” said Albert Kok, Senior Manager, Program Management, AMD.

John Choe, director of global business at Roborobo said, “After signing a collaboration M.O.U. with AMD in May of this year, AMD successfully conducted robotics training activities in Southeast Asia using Roborobo’s robots, and the trust built between the two companies based on the collaboration made it possible to operate an overseas joint booth for both companies. We look forward to continuing collaboration in the development of education and educational curriculum under the collaboration between the two companies.”

The joint booth of the two companies can be found at C01 on the second basement level of the Marina Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Roborobo was selected as a finalist in the Best STEM/Robotics/Coding category at the ‘2024 GESS Dubai Education Awards’, the largest exhibition in the Middle East, for two consecutive years. The award is one of the world’s four major education awards, along with the World DIDAC Award in Switzerland, the Learning Impact Award in the United States, and the BETT award in the United Kingdom which can only be selected after a rigorous screening and evaluation of applications by education experts around the world, which is a very significant achievement for the company. The final winner will be announced in Dubai on November 13th of this year.
