EcoVadis assesses the sustainability ratings of supply chains applying global standards by assessing 21 sustainability items across four core subjects; environment, labor, human rights, and sustainable procurement. More than 100,000 companies in 175 countries around the world have been assessed by EcoVadis.

As an EcoVadis Approved training partner, ECONINE consults throughout the company’s sustainability assessment process, reviews the assessment results after the assessment is finished, and provides official support to improve environment, labor, human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices.

EcoVadis said that Econine was selected as it was assessed highly on its ESG management advisory consulting experience, expertise, and know-how accumulated thus far. ECONINE, which demonstrated a deep understanding of the local environment and ethical and human rights regulatory issues, achieved the splendid feat of being selected as the first approved training partner in South Korea while being awarded a gold medal through the EcoVadis assessment.

ECONINE, which was selected as an Approved training partner, must complete rigorous training on understanding of the EcoVadis methodology and assessment process through the EcoVadis Academy. Also, as an Approved training partner, ECONINE will △support suppliers for understanding and assessment of EcoVadis assessment methods △provide consulting for suppliers’ understanding of scorecards and corrective action plans and support suppliers’ implementation of improvements △support a wide range of supply chain sustainability practices, and △support companies assessed by EcoVadis for their understanding of benefits given to their business and supply chain.
